Japanese Grammar: "๏ฝžใŸใ„" (Want to)

"~tai (๏ฝžใŸใ„)" is used to express your own desire ("Want to do...").
It is used like "I want to eat sushi" or "I want to go to Japan".
The polite form is "~tai desu".

"~tai" is basically used for yourself (first person).
When talking about someone else's desire (third person), use "~tagatteimasu".
โœ• Kare wa ikitai desu. โ†’ ใ€‡ Kare wa ikitagatteimasu.
Also, be careful when asking "Do you want to...?" to a superior, as it can sound rude.

Simply remove "masu" from the verb and add "tai".
