"~mashou (ο½γΎγγγ)" is used to invite someone to do
something together ("Let's do...").
It can also be used when you offer to do something yourself ("Shall I do it?").
"~mashou" is an active invitation.
If you want to ask someone's opinion or invite them more softly, "~mashou ka" (Shall
we?)
is better.
Example:
"Ikimashou!" = Let's go! (Active)
"Ikimashou ka?" = Shall we go? (Polite/Soft)
Simply remove "masu" from the verb and add "mashou".
